Desert Museum Tucson, AZ

Today we left early to go to the Saguaro National Park West and the Desert Museum. The weather has been extremely hot these last 2 days. Today was 103 degrees. The motor home is doing all it can do to keep us at 83 degrees inside. Luckily nights cool down and it is pleasant again. The next few days over the weekend should be nice in the 90's.
We spent the morning learning about the terrain here in Arizona. I did not know Arizona is the only state with 4 types of deserts in it's borders. We are in the Sonoran desert in Tucson. The others are Great Basin, Mojave, and Chihuahuan deserts. One can tell by the variations of plant/cactus/succulents on the land. The Desert Museum was fabulous. It is like a well put together zoo of the desert, while including the rock, sand and plant life. I took a few pictures, which I labeled for my remembrance.
(Also, Arizona as a state does not change time, which confused us the first day here. Currently AZ is on Pacific Time.)
